Overseas study programmes to Korean institutions are organised by the Hong Kong Worldwide Exchange Programme (9 universities) and the Faculty of Arts (UIC at Yonsei University).

Ewha Womans University
The history of Ewha traces back to 1886 when American missionary Mary F. Scranton began classes for women in Seoul, the capital of Korea. Since its first class, Ewha’s pioneering efforts have led to its becoming the first educational institute for women and the first government-accredited four-year university in Korea.Ewha has now grown into one of Korea’s most prestigious schools and the world’s largest women’s university with nearly 25,000 students and 987 faculty members within 11 colleges, 15 graduate schools, and 66 research institutes. The university is also home to a Multicultural Institute, which aims to conduct academic research and teaching and to develop policy around multiculturalism in order to create a diverse global society. Meanwhile its Asian Center for Women’s Studies seeks to elevate women’s status in Asia and beyond.
Chung-Ang University
Established in 1961, Chung-Ang University (CAU) is one of the leading private research universities in Seoul, South Korea. The University sets its vision on becoming a prestigious global institution, and has implemented innovative initiatives to internationalise its campus. Fully accredited by the Ministry of Education of Korea, CAU offers a wide range of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programmes. It is also recognised as one of the nation's best in the fields of pharmacy, culture, and art education.
