A Conversation with Director Sohyun Lee
South Korean Documentary Filmmaker
Sohyun Lee (Honorary Lecturer, School of Future Media, HKU) is the director of the feature-length documentaries Dear Grandma (2015) and The Talent Show (2023). She will join the KORE 2026 course to share her experiences as a woman filmmaker in South Korea, with a particular focus on her documentary practice of listening to and representing different generations of Korean women.
